Once the beautiful weather came in August, we had warm Summer days in September. By the time you are reading this newsletter, the BCJSBTF Annual Convention, a No-Host Convention, at Harrison Hot Springs would be over and some lucky winners of our annual lottery would have been announced. We would have enjoyed our stay in the hot springs with hiking, golfing, dip in the pool and listened to the Dharma from our Senseis and had our annual BCJSBTF AGM.
Thank you to all the committee chairs and the senseis for all their hard work and effort to make this a successful convention.
We are preparing for our Fall Bazaar with the guidance of our co-chairs, Dave Ohori, Joanne Yuasa and Yvonne Nakano. We hope you are able to come to the Temple and help us in one of our major fundraising events.
Also Sunday October 2nd is Jodo Shinshu Day. Along with the Bodhi Mind you will find the JSBTC envelope. We hope you can come to the service and your donations will be forwarded to JSBTC. Your donations help in the running of the JSBTC as well as funding many worthy projects.
